Commentary: Hello!!!! This is my first published web comic, how exciting. One day I might learn how to edit comics scans good. PSYCH!!! I would really like to lean in to the DIYness of these comics, because what I really care about is getting my ideas on paper and into the world. Plus I just find the DIY aesthetic very charming in its own right. Everyone has a different art style and story to tell and it's so neat to see them!!
I did edited this one by taking a hasty photo with my phone (in fact, a photo used to share with a friend ad hoc and not to publish on the web). Then I cropped, lowered the saturation to 0 (that just made the paper white without modifying the appearance of the pencil much). I turned the brightness down very low and then lowered the a bit until I got a good picture. IIRC at least.
